An annual holiday  ride!

Schools are not in session, which means very little vehicle 
or pedestrian traffic - the perfect time to visit a University campus.

The destination is UCLA. Specifically these two spots: 
1. The Franklin Murphy Sculpture Garden
2. Bruin Plaza and statue

pace: high L3/low L2, eg 17-19

This is a mostly flat ride. Expect low L2 speeds during long uninterrupted stretches, such as Ballona Creek. Otherwise, we have urban riding - stop signs and traffic lights and the riding will be more like high L3 zone. There are a few very short inclines, eg, half a block long. We will stop for 10-15 minutes to enjoy the sights at the two stops listed above.

We go past Syd K and meander through Beverly Hills neighborhoods. After cutting through Century City, we arrive and wander through a bit of UCLA, before returning through East Santa Monica. UCLA requires use of walkways, so please yield to pedestrians.
